DIY Baker's Twine

I stopped dead in my tracks when I spotted this tutorial on how to make your own baker’s twine with supplies you most likely have on hand at home! I had to share!

Baker’s twine is a staple for most crafters, a lovely accent for wrapping or decoration. The trick is in the variegated color threaded through the white string, and you can accomplish this look at home at a fraction of the cost. The makers of this twine have smarted up to our crafty ways (it’s no longer just for baking!) and this discovery is definitely reflected in the price of the twine. This tutorial will add a new “I can make that” to your list of pricey finds! With just a few simple supplies, you’ll be well on your way to twine heaven.

Sharpie has a ton of great colors, so it’s easy to create a full line of beautiful baker’s twine fit to your style.
