Making something is always great, but it is certainly made better when paired with the great outdoors. The Piedmont Park Conservancy has partnered with Kim Nungesser, of Crafter Hours, and Erica Strickland, creator of Craftie Bash, for an all-day DIY Day on January 28, 2012 filled with crafting fun!
Read more about the event after the jump!
DIY Day is a new event designed for crafters of all experience levels, inviting the community to learn new skills and techniques which they will use to create four projects during the day. No need to bring supplies, everything is provided upon registration.
Registration is open online at the DIY Days website — $99 includes a swag bag per participant (coupons, giveaways, hooray!), instruction at four craft tables, supplies, and lunch for the day. If you register before December 31st, you will receive a $15 discount. They offer gift certificates for the event, so if you’re still looking for the perfect holiday gift for your favorite crafter, DIY Days sounds like a dream!
Proceeds from the event benefit the Piedmont Park Conservancy. Making things by hand and up-cycling go perfectly with the mission of the Piedmont Park Conservancy — it’s an event that makes us feel good all around!
